The minutes of last years AGM June 2009 were approved. Proposed by Ken Prichard and seconded by Stuart Ruffe. No matters arising.

Churston Golf Club Planning Application

(120 homes, plus a care home)

500 Bus Service - Issues raised about noise, fumes, privacy, frequency, tree damage

Broadsands / Dartmouth Road junction changes - Design issues, safety, flooding

6. The majority voted to object to the Golf club development proposal. Steve Freer to write a letter of objection based upon existing information.

7. Positive comments from members saying the 500 bus service was well used by residents in the Elbury area, enabling immobile people to get up the hill. The members were overwhelmingly in favour of the service. No action to be taken.

8. Junction at Dartmouth Road to Broadsands Road. Many people thought it was of poor design and is more dangerous. Steve Freer agreed to write to the highways dept.

9. Question about rumour to build 4 homes and an access road on the site of the children’s home on Broadsands road. Anna Tolchard did not know of any such plans.
